Lunch

So your probably wondering what this is. It is tuna cakes without any breadcrumbs or bread. I came across it on pinterest but decided to do my own version.

  • 1 can of albacore tuna (in water) drained
  • cilantro
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg white
  • braii seasoning.

Roughly 190 calories, 6g of fat, 33g of protein, 506 mg of sodium.

I shaped them into patties & browned them. Make sure you watch it so the egg mixture does not drip. You can add lemon juice, celery, tomatoes, any seasoning or any herbs that you enjoy. You do NOT need the breadcrumbs they taste good exactly like this. Totally healthy, protein filled, inexpensive and delicious!

Pair this with a piece of fruit say an apple 80 calories and 1/2 a cup of cottage cheese, 80 calories. Total: 350 cal lunch, 25 carbs, 47g protein. Eat according to your fitness goals. If you need less carbs, leave out the apple.
